Pumpkins, feathers, and luminaries... oh my!

Last Months Wrap Up!

The West Morris Junior Women's Club would like to welcome our newest members Nikki Peck, Tracy Puzino, and Angie Kennedy. We are grateful to have you! Angie had a wonderful experience at her first meeting and told us, "I really enjoyed meeting everyone and love what the group does for the community. I've been looking for a way to get involved and meet people in the area so this seems like a perfect fit". What wonderful feedback! This is why we are here. We create a local place for service, fellowship, and FUN! The WMJWC is always welcoming new members if YOU are considering joining.

Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Success

2020 Holiday Luminary Sales are HAPPENING NOW!

Proceeds from the WMJWC residential holiday luminary Sales provide gifts to families supported by Family Promise of Morris County. Most items on these wish lists are essentials we often take for granted like clothes, shoes, cutlery, or a crock-pot. You can turn these wish lists into a dream come true! Our luminaries kits consist of classic white paper bags and LED tea lights. Lights are NEW flameless lights and brighter than ever before!

2020 has been a challenging year for many, including some of our neighbors. As a result, the WMJWC thought about how we could use luminaries to bring warmth to all people in surrounding communities. We invested in additional inventory and got the green light to illuminate Main Street in Chester! Proceeds from any luminaries purchased to light Main Street will be donated to families supported by the Chester/Mendham Food Pantry, right here at home. As always, we need you and can't do what we do without YOU. Click here to donate luminaries to be placed 6 feet apart all the way down Main Street. With your help, we will create an experience of enchantment, love, and support for all of Chester to see on December 24th at sundown. It will require $2000 in total donations to make this possible and we have currently raised just over $600. Anything you can offer is appreciated and we hope you and your family pack in the car on December 24th to see the spectacular Main Street, Chester!

Purchasing luminaries for your personal property, street-front, or development are still available but limited due to high demand. There are currently less than 350 lights available for private homes to purchase! Luminary sales end on 12/10 or until supplies last. Don't wait to place your order and click here to purchase lights now! And just in case luminaries or holiday decor isn't your kind of thing, we respect that! You can still help a family by making a donation through our form without the lights or legwork!
